I went on a trip several years ago which included Hong Kong, Guangdong, a cruise on the Yangtze, Guilin, Beijing and Xian. I never had to worry about how to get somewhere or where to eat, plus the travel agent took care of all the necessary visas that were needed. I'd been to China before on my own, but if you want to see more sights with less hassle, its better to go with a prearranged itinerary...plus you also don't have to worry about cost because everythings been taken care of in advance.
